Chephren and a
reddish sky. |
| Scramble: Awesome
day with broken clouds. We're out with our friend Val for a nice long
hike up a lofty peak. The sky is
reddish, the sunlight filtered thought the smoke from forest fires
emanates an orangey hue. The atmosphere is unusual, calm and
appealing. We followed a trail
until treeline then picked a line up the wide open ascent slope! The
scree was
quite firm which helped on this looong ascent. A very enjoyable trip. |
